This week, the Nationals released cherry-blossom-themed City Connect Uniforms and other merchandise, and the reaction was very positive so much so it seems that the Nationals had a record number of sales.

According to Jessica Camerato, MLB Beat Reporter for the Nationals [Tweet Link]: "The #Nationals announced record # s for sales of cherry blossom-themed City Connect uniforms, which went on sale yesterday, including MLB Shop’s highest sales for a day 1 City Connect launch (topping previous mark by +58%)."
