Posting on his Instagram account, RHP Josiah Gray gave a brief update on his injury. As it was reported earlier this week, Gray underwent season-ending Tommy John surgery and an internal brace procedure performed by orthopedic surgeon Dr. Keith Meister in Arlington to address a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament on Wednesday. He wrote in a post: "...This wasn’t the way I envisioned my 2024 season-ending but I’ll be back 🦾I wanna thank everyone who’s reached out over these last few weeks to check in, your support is always appreciated and noticed.I’m as excited as ever to keep cheering on my dawgs in the 2nd half and seeing what we can do‼️Life has certainly had its ups and downs lately, but I am truly blessed and know this will only set me up for greater success in the future!"
