It looks like RHP Zack Greinke will be returning to the team that drafted him way back in 2002: The Kansas City Royals according to reports by Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic. It's a one-year deal worth $13 million, reports Jon Heyman of MLB Network. Earlier Wednesday, the Royals traded starting pitcher Mike Minor to the Reds for left-handed reliever Amir Garrett in a move that reportedly saved the club around $8.5 million.

Additionally, Major League Baseball announced scheduling changes due to the late agreement between them and the MLBPA.
