The Washington Nationals just announced this morning that they’d signed first baseman Matt Adams, infielder Travis Blankenhorn, and righties Tommy Romero and Anthony Castro to minor league contracts with invitations to Major League 2023 Spring Training.

Matt Adams will return to the Washington Nationals and hasn’t played regularly in the majors since 2019; he spent last season in independent ball in Kansas City.
