The Fredericksburg Nationals announced that the Washington Nationals that they released infielder Sammy Infante.

This season, Sammy Infante had a batting average of .230 with two home runs, 17 RBI, and 20 runs. Infante played 42 games between the Fredericksburg Nationals and the Wilimington Blue Rocks.

Infante was the 71st overall pick by the Washington Nationals during the 2020 MLB Draft.
