The Washington Nationals selected the contract of right-handed pitcher Erasmo Ramírez from Triple-A Rochester and placed right-handed pitcher Hunter Harvey on the 10-day Injured List with a right pronator strain on Thursday. A veteran of 10 Major League seasons, Ramirez has pitched to a 4.37 ERA in 216 games (92 starts) for the Detroit Tigers (2021), New York Mets (2020), Boston Red Sox (2019), Seattle Mariners (2012–14, 2017–18) and Tampa Bay Rays (2015–17).

Harvey, 27, has appeared in four games for the Nationals, tossing scoreless relief across 2.2 innings pitched.
