RHP Cade Cavalli was named the top baseball prospect in the East League in Baseball America's latest rankings. The 2020 first-rounder from Oklahoma had perhaps the best pro debut of any player in his draft class. Cavalli was also ranked number 16 in Baseball America's Top 100 prospects.
Over his seven starts at High-A, Cade Cavalli struck out 71, walked 12 over 40.2 innings pitched. He had an ERA of 1.777 Cavalli went 3-1 in his brief time in the High-A league.

Cavalli earned rave reviews for the polish he showed at the level, with one evaluator noting he wouldn’t look out of place in the big leagues right now, and he had no trouble throwing strikes consistently—a concern coming out of college."
'His last outing against us was right before he went up to Double-A . . . That day he was 97-100 (mph) and throwing breaking balls for strikes whenever he wanted,” Jersey Shore manager Chris Adamson said. 'That was super impressive to see.'"
Cavalli went on to finish the 2021 season with the Rochester RedWings the Nationals Triple-A team, where he went 1-5 with an ERA of 7.30 over 24.2 innings pitched.
