The Harrisburg Senators (15-14) had help from unexpected people to move over .500 for the first time this season on Wednesday. Viandel Pena, .179 at the game's start, drove in four runs with his two-run home run, an RBI triple, and an RBI single. Dustin Saenz started and worked 5 2/3 shutout innings for his second win.
CJ Stubbs had two hits, drove in three runs, and scored three times. Phillip Glasser had two hits and drove in two runs. Jeremy De La Rosa had two hits and scored twice.
The win marked the second shutout in a row for the often pitching-challenged Senators. Hyun-il Choi worked five scoreless innings Tuesday to earn his first win in Harrisburg. Led by a Schnell three-run home run and Cayden Wallace and Max Romero, Jr.'s two-run shots, the Senators routed Richmond 19-0. Joe Naranjo had three hits and drove in three runs. Naranjo and Wallace both scored three times. Harrisburg accounted for 15 hits and drew a season-high 12 walks. The runs, hits and base-on-balls were all season highs.
