Good Morning Washington Nationals Fan,
Here are the latest headlines and analyses around the Washington Nationals and Major League Baseball for today, July 7th. My name is Haden Raymer and this is your morning briefing. Today’s top story is the Nationals got swept in four games at home.
The Nationals lost 5-4 in extras during last night’s game. The Reds completed the four game sweep on the road, the first time a team swept a four game series on the road this season. MacKenzie Gore pitched an inning and a third thanks to a rain delay.
Riley Adams went 3-4 and Lane Thomas went 2-5.
Adams is your Nats Report Player of the Game for his 3-4 game. The next game begins at 7:05 p.m. on MASN against the Texas Rangers.
