Well, these are two different questions with two different answers. I think that the majority of America or even Japan wanted to see the matchup between the New York Yankees and the Los Angeles Dodgers. Still, I am sure that Major League Baseball offices up in New York City must be excited. Will we see record viewership of the World Series this year? I mean,

Some really interesting storylines will be showing up during this year's World Series, and at the end of the day and over the next couple of days, we will be covering them here at the Nats Report.

Before looking forward to the World Series, here is a quick NLCS Game #6 recap: The Dodgers defeated the New York Mets 10-5.

The Dodgers clinched the 2024 NL Pennant with a 10-5 victory over their opponent in Game 6. Tommy Edman's four RBIs earned him NLCS MVP honors. This marks the first time since 1988 that the Dodgers have secured a championship series title at Dodger Stadium.

With this win, the Dodgers advance to their 22nd World Series overall and their 13th since relocating to Los Angeles. Historically, the winner of Game 6 in the NLCS has advanced to the Fall Classic 84.6% of the time. This is the fourth NL Pennant for the Dodgers in the last eight years.

The Dodgers will face the Yankees in the World Series, beginning with Game 1 at Dodger Stadium. This will be the 12th time these storied franchises have met in the Fall Classic, the most frequent matchup in baseball history. Their previous World Series encounters date back to 1941. The Yankees and Dodgers hold the most and second-most World Series appearances, respectively, among all Major League clubs.

Shohei Ohtani tallied two hits and drew a walk, reaching 17 times in the NLCS safely. With his single in the sixth inning, he reached safely 16 times in the series, setting a new Dodgers single-series record in the Postseason.
