In Major League Baseball News, the San Deigo Padres are making some serious moves. It's been a busy couple of days for the Padre's front office. Over the weekend, they traded for pitcher Blake Snell, singed KBO League star infielder Ha-Seong Kim. Last night, they traded for Chicago Cubs righty Yu Darvish and catcher Victor Caratini, who emerged as the right-hander's catcher in Chicago. In exchange, the Cubs will acquire right-hander Zach Davies and four young prospects: outfielders Owen Caissie (18) and Ismael Mena (18) and shortstops Reggie Preciado (17) and Yeison Santana (20). With all these recent moves, it looks like the Padres will be a force in the N.L. West. Look out, L.A. Dodgers.
