Daily Report From Rochester:
ROCHESTER, NY — Andrew Pinckney launched two home runs and drove in five runs to lead the Rochester Red Wings to an 8–5 victory over the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp on Tuesday night at 121 Financial Ballpark.
Pinckney wasted no time making an impact, belting a two-run homer in the first inning and adding another two-run shot in the third. He capped his night with an RBI triple in the ninth.
The Red Wings scored in each of the first three innings to build a 5–0 lead, aided by a sacrifice bunt from Nasim Nuñez and a throwing error in the second. DH Nick Schnell added insurance with a two-run homer in the seventh, finishing the night with three hits. 1B Yohandy Morales extended his hit streak to eight games with a double and a walk, marking his fifth multi-hit game in his last seven starts.
Starter Andrew Alvarez tossed a quality start for Rochester, allowing just two runs on three hits across six innings with six strikeouts.
Jacksonville chipped away at the early deficit with runs in the third, fourth, seventh, eighth, and ninth, including solo home runs by Joe Mack and Cody Morissette, but fell short in their late rally.
Game two of the six-game series is set for Wednesday night, with Rochester’s Bryce Conley facing Jacksonville’s Adam Mazur. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. EDT.

Daily Report From Harrisburg:
HARRISBURG, PA — The Harrisburg Senators were blanked 8–0 by the Altoona Curve on Tuesday night at FNB Field, managing just two hits in a lopsided series opener.
Altoona set the tone early, jumping on recently promoted Senators starter Jackson Kent for four runs in the first inning. The Curve strung together four hits in the frame, including RBI singles from Esmerlyn Valdez, Duce Gourson, Omar Alfonzo, and P.J. Hilson.
From there, the Curve cruised. Javier Rivas added a solo home run in the sixth, and Altoona piled up 12 hits in total. Hilson, Rivas, Gourson, and Alfonzo each recorded multi-hit games to lead the offense.
Wilber Dotel handled the Senators' lineup with ease, spinning five scoreless innings and striking out four. Harrisburg’s only offense came from singles by Seaver King and Sam Brown.
The Senators will look to bounce back on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. EDT. Lefty Jake Bennett will get the ball for Harrisburg, while 24-year-old Blake Townsend will toe the rubber for Altoona.

Daily Report From Wilmington:
GREENSBORO, NC — The Wilmington Blue Rocks dropped their seventh game in their last eight outings with a 5-3 loss to the Greensboro Grasshoppers in Tuesday night’s series opener.
Wilmington jumped ahead early in the top of the first inning thanks to Juan Yepez, who launched a two-run homer to left field, scoring Elijah Nunez and giving the Blue Rocks a 2-0 lead.
But that advantage didn’t last long. In the bottom half of the inning, Greensboro responded quickly. Titus Dumitru crushed a three-run homer to right, bringing home Axiel Plaz and Callan Moss to put the Grasshoppers ahead 3-2.
Greensboro added to its lead in the fourth inning, when Keiner Delgado hit his 14th home run of the season — a two-run shot to center that scored Jared Jones and extended the lead to 5-2.
Wilmington tried to rally late in the eighth inning. Yepez, who had a standout night, delivered again with an RBI single to score Armando Cruz and move Nunez into scoring position. But the Blue Rocks couldn’t capitalize further.
Nationals trade deadline acquisition, Josh Randall, had a rough outing, going five innings, giving up five earned runs on five hits, two walks, and two strikeouts.
The action continues on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. EDT. Eriq Swan will get the ball for Wilmington against Greensboro’s Carlson Reed.

Daily Report From Fredericksburg:
LYNCHBURG, VA — The Fredericksburg Nationals dropped back to a .500 record Tuesday night with a narrow 3-2 loss to the Lynchburg Hillcats in the opener of their six-game series at Bank of the James Stadium.
Despite striking first in the top of the first inning, the Fred-Nats couldn’t hold on. Singles by Kevin Bazzell and Jorgelys Mota, along with a walk by Ethan Petry, loaded the bases. Randal Diaz then drove in the game’s opening run with a fielder’s choice grounder that broke up a potential double play.
Starter R.J. Sales took the mound with a 1-0 lead but gave it up quickly. After walking the leadoff man, Sales struck out the next two batters before giving up a two-run homer to Anthony Martinez on a full count, giving Lynchburg a 2-1 advantage.
The teams traded solo runs later, but neither offense could break through after the third inning. Fredericksburg’s pitching staff notched 13 strikeouts and allowed no runs over the final six frames, but the offense went cold, finishing just 1-for-14 with runners in scoring position and stranding 11 runners.
Angel Perez earned the win for Lynchburg, while Sales took the loss.
The two teams will meet again on Wednesday for a scheduled doubleheader, with first pitch for game one set for 5:00 p.m. EDT.
