Daily Report From Rochester:

CHARLOTTE, NC. — The Rochester Red Wings unleashed a relentless offensive attack Tuesday night, overpowering the Charlotte Knights 16–1.

The onslaught began in the third inning when Robert Hassell III singled home Nasim Nuñez, and Yohandy Morales followed with a three-run homer to make it 4–0. Andrew Pinckney added his 14th home run of the season in the fifth, and Andrés Chaparro crushed a three-run shot to extend the lead to 8–0.

Things only worsened for Charlotte in the later innings. A wild pitch in the seventh allowed another run to score before Hassell drove in two more with his second RBI single of the night. Trey Lipscomb capped the offensive explosion with home runs in the eighth and ninth, driving in five runs across the two innings.

Rochester’s pitching staff limited Charlotte to just five hits and struck out 10. Rochester starter Andrew Alvarez worked six innings in the blowout, not allowing a run.

Nationals outfielder Dylan Crews made a rehab start in this one for the Wings. Crews went 0-1 with a groundout back to the pitcher and a hit by pitch. He was taken out of the game after four innings and is projected to play the rest of the week with Rochester before returning to Washington.

Both teams will return to action on Wednesday night. Rochester will hand the ball over to veteran Bryce Conley, while Charlotte will roll out Yoendrys Gómez. Game two of the series is set to start at 7:04 p.m. EDT.

Daily Report From Harrisburg:

BINGHAMTON, NY. — The Harrisburg Senators edged the Binghamton Rumble Ponies 6–5 in a seesaw battle Tuesday night.

Harrisburg struck first in the opening frame when Kevin Made launched a three-run homer to left-center, scoring Phillip Glasser and Seaver King. Binghamton responded quickly with a solo shot from Carson Benge in the bottom half and steadily chipped away at the deficit.

Jacob Reimer’s RBI double in the fourth and Ryan Clifford’s game-tying RBI single, aided by a throwing error in the fifth, evened the score at 3–3. Harrisburg briefly reclaimed the lead in the seventh on Maxwell Romero Jr.’s solo homer to right, but Jett Williams answered with his 10th home run in the bottom of the frame to knot it again at 4–4.

In the top of the eighth, Peña delivered the decisive blow, driving in two runs with a single to center to give Harrisburg a 6–4 advantage. Binghamton managed to get one back in the bottom half with a JT Schwartz RBI single, but the rally fell short.

Both teams will be back on the field on Wednesday afternoon. Harrisburg will send Kyle Luckham out to the mound, while opposing him for Binghamton will be Jonah Tong. The game starts at 1:07 p.m. EDT

Daily Report From Wilmington:

WILMINGTON, DE. — The Hudson Valley Renegades jumped out to a commanding lead and never looked back Tuesday night, defeating the Wilmington Blue Rocks 13–6.

Hudson Valley opened the scoring in the second inning with a seven-run outburst, highlighted by Jose Colmenares’ two-run triple and RBI singles from Coby Morales, Manuel Palencia, and Josh Moylan. The Renegades continued their assault in the fourth with a pair of two-run doubles by Brenny Escanio and Dillon Lewis to stretch the lead to 9–0. Wilmington’s starter Jackson Kent would only go 3 2/3 innings, allowing nine runs.

Wilmington got on the board in the fifth thanks to a two-run double from Jeremy De La Rosa, but the Renegades answered immediately with Palencia’s RBI double in the sixth. The Blue Rocks cut the deficit to 10–4 with a solo homer from Cortland Lawson and an RBI single by Sam Petersen, but the Renegades put the game away with a three-run ninth inning, capitalizing on an error, a sacrifice fly by Lewis, and Morales’ fourth hit of the night.

Petersen homered in the ninth and T.J. White added an RBI single to make the score more respectable, but the Blue Rocks couldn’t overcome the early damage.

Game two of the series is set for 11:05 a.m. EDT on Wednesday. Wilmington will send Davian Garcia out to the mound. On the other side, Cade Smith will throw for Hudson Valley.

Daily Report From Fredericksburg:

COLUMBIA, SC. — The Fredericksburg Nationals opened their road trip with a 9–6 loss to the Columbia Fireflies on Tuesday night.

Despite collecting 10 hits and six runs, the Fred-Nats were undone by six walks, two hit batters, and 13 hits allowed, along with two costly errors. Columbia capitalized with a three-run second inning and a decisive four-run rally in the seventh to secure the win in the first game of the series.

Victor Farias took the loss in his Fredericksburg debut. The bright spots for Fredericksburg included top 30 prospect, Elijah Green, who launched his first home run of the 2025 season and added an RBI triple. Green has struggled throughout his entire minor league career and was sent from High-A Wilmington back to West Palm Beach to help get him back on track. Green has been much more of a patient hitter since coming to the Fred-Nats. Eighteen-year-old Angel Feliz impressed in his Single-A debut, going 1-for-3 with a stolen base and a walk.

The Fred-Nats will look to bounce back and even the series on Wednesday night, with Brayan Romero set to take the mound for the Nationals, while opposing him for Columbia will be David Shields. First pitch for game two is set for 7:05 p.m. EDT.
