Food is just as important as the game on the field that is why I take a look at some of my favorite eats at Nats Park

The food at a baseball stadium has is just as or even a bit more important than the players on the field. Okay, seriously, not really, but it is really important to the fans that attend baseball games regularly throughout the season and postseason if their team is lucky. That is why I have ranked my top five favorite food options at Nationals Park and the reasons why.

Rocklands BBQ

As a barbecue aficionado and purest, it wasn't until this past season when I tried one of their signature dishes which feels like it is at the top of Nationals Stadium, that I re-fell in love with Rocklands BBQ at a baseball game. I am 100% going to be making the climb to Rocklands in future games and will become a regular food stop for me, that is for sure.

Senators Sausage

During the 2019 season, I can't even keep track of how many Grilled Italian Sausage with sauteed peppers and onions or grilled bratwurst with sauerkraut sandwiches I ate, but it was a lot. Not only because it became my "good luck" charm for the season, either way, a solid Senators Sausage sandwich is so good with a nice cold beer during a hot summer Saturday afternoon or late evening game.

Enzo's Pizza

Being born and raised in New York, I take my pizza very seriously. Don't get me wrong, there are some great pizza stores in the DMV, but nothing compares to and will never compare to New York pizza. I am not saying that Enzio Pizza is on par with New York pizza, but it is pretty good for Nationals Park and the D.C. area. I really like the fact that there are a lot of locations around the park. I would love to see Andy's Pizza make an appearance at Nats park soon!

Medium Rare

This past season was my first time trying Medium Rare at Nationals Park, and from my first steak, gravy and french fries sandwich I was completely hooked. Not only is the flavor profiles spot on and really good for baseball food, but it is also in a perfect location to grab some drinks to accompany the sandwich on your way to your seats.

Bens Chilli Bowl

Obviously, a D.C. institution for a reason, there is nothing like having a half-smoke fully loaded has become the first food purchase that I make to begin every Washington Nationals season. There is nothing like having a half-smoke to kick off the season or during any game actually.
