Trailing 4-3 in the bottom of the ninth of game one, the Nationals rallied to defeat the New York Mets 5-4, on the first walk off hit of James Wood’s career, a single that scored a hustling CJ Abrams from first base.
The Nationals trailed 5-0 after the top of the first and 7-1 entering the bottom of the seventh of game three and came back to beat the Mets, 8-7, in walk-off fashion. CJ Abrams drove in Alex Call to tie the game before Luis García Jr. delivered the game winner, reaching base on an error that scored Abrams.
