WEST PALM BEACH, FL - The final countdown is underway. At the time of writing, the first pitch of Nationals Spring Training is just 42 hours away, and the team has been on a steady upward trend during their first week of practices. When things like roster battles, potential position changes, and prospects trying to break camp with the major league squad come into focus this early, things usually become intense in the clubhouse. However, these Nationals seem to be an extremely positive, loose group, with the youngest manager in a half-century and a new sense of optimism guiding the way.
