On Sunday, Robert Hassell was designated for assignment. In response, Eddy Yean was promoted from Rochester and made his MLB debut, going two innings hitless and striking out three.

Minor League Stats: In 2026, Yean played in 39 games for Rochester, and in those games, Yean posted a 3.60 ERA, a 1.15 WHIP, and 45 strikeouts through 40 innings.

Robert Hassle: The 24-year-old prospect was dropped from the Nats' 40-man roster for Yean.
