"I couldn't be more excited to make my Major League broadcasting debut, and I can't thank the Nationals enough for the opportunity," Bach said in a press release on Friday. “… It means the world to me to be trusted with this responsibility."
Fredericksburg’s 2025 season came to an end on Thursday night as the Nationals saw a 4-3 ninth-inning lead disappear in a crushing 5-4 defeat against the Lynchburg Hillcats in Game 2 of the Carolina League Division Series.
Thursday’s loss also ended the quest for back-to-back Carolina League titles after winning the franchise’s first league title since moving to Fredericksburg last year.
