Today the Washington Nationals will conclude their second to last home stand and their two game series against the Philadelphia Phillies with the first pitch at 6:45 p.m. ET.

Left handed pitcher Jared Simpson who has a 1-0 record and an ERA of 6.75 is scheduled to take the mound for the Washington Nationals while right handed pitcher Zack Wheeler is scheduled to take the mound for the Phillies.

Wheeler enters tonights game with a record of 12-5 and ERA of 3.14.

Last night, the Washington Nationals defeated the Philadelphia Phillies. The Nationals are looking to extend their winning streak to a season-high five game which would mark their longest winning steak since May 16-22, 2025..

The Washington Nationals have won nine of their last 11 home games and are 17-8 (.680) at home since July 25. With one more win, the Nationals will record their 72nd win of 2026, their most in a season since the 2019 Nationals recorded 93 wins.
