Game 2 Storylines and Notes:
The Sens look to shake off yesterday’s 3-1 10 inning loss in Game 1 of the series. The Sens will hand the ball to Josh Randall fresh off of his toughest outing to date in AA. Randall was hit around by Richmond, the Eastern League’s best offensive team. His final line was 8R, 7H (3 HR), 2BB and 6K. He takes on a SeaWolves team who sits in middle-lower half of the league in most offensive categories. Randall had a tremendous first two outings of his AA stint and will look to get back into form in tonight’s outings. Erie has won 7 of their last 10 games and is playing good baseball to finish up the first half. Meanwhile the Sens are limping a bit to the halfway point and are 3-7 in their last 10. The Sens currently sit 1.5 games behind Erie for 2nd place in the division. Wednesday night baseball. Senators and SeaWolves at beautiful FNB Park at the bottom of the hour.

LAST GAME RECAP:
It was a beautiful day for baseball at FNB Field on Tuesday. The Sens dropped a tight game to Erie 3-1 in 10 innings. The Sens pitching staff brought their A game. All six pitchers combined on a 3 hitter through 9 innings. Sens pitchers also didn’t allow a hit after the 3rd inning until the 10th when Erie would bring two runners home to take the lead. The Sens offense did very little to provide insurance runs to their pitchers with only 5 hits on the day. The Sens lineup also went down in order in 5 of their 10 at bats. Chance Huff allowed a lead off single bringing the place runner, John Peck, to third base. Thayron Liranzo stole second and advanced to third on a throw that ricocheted off of SS Devin Fitz-Gerald’s glove and rolled into shallow center field. John Peck would walk home on the same play. Peyton Graham then doubled a few batters later bringing in Liranzo and giving the SeaWolves the 2 run lead. The Sens would leave the place runner stranded at second and go down in order to fall 3-1.
