Series Storylines and Notes
The Sens and Seawolves meet for the third time this season and the first time since the beginning of May. The teams are deadlocked at 6 wins a piece through the first two series. Erie finds themselves in uncharted territory currently in 2nd place in the Southwest Division after a tough start to the year. Erie was 4-12 through the first two series of the season including losing 4 of 6 to Harrisburg in early April. Erie returned the favor in Harrisburg in the beginning of May taking the first 4 games before losing the final 2 to the Senators in their second series of the season. The only thing left to play for in the season’s first half is who finishes in 2nd place in the division. The Sens open the series in 4th place but only a ½ game behind 2nd place Erie. The Sens and Erie will play once more after this week’s series when the Sens visit Erie for a 6 game sets July 7th-12th.
