Daily Report From Rochester:
MEMPHIS, TN — The Rochester Red Wings fell 9–1 to the Memphis Redbirds Tuesday night at AutoZone Park, opening their first-ever series against Memphis with a lopsided loss.
After three scoreless innings, the Redbirds broke through in the fourth with a bases-clearing triple by catcher Gavin Collins, taking a 3–0 lead. Memphis added a solo home run from Mike Antico in the fifth and erupted for five more runs in the eighth to put the game out of reach.
Rochester’s only run came in the ninth, when designated hitter Christian Franklin singled home Jackson Cluff, who had reached on an infield hit. The Red Wings managed just one run on eight hits and finished 1-for-7 with runners in scoring position.
Starter Bryce Conley allowed four runs over six innings, striking out four. Reliever Holden Powell was tagged for five more runs in 1.2 innings of work, and infielder J.T. Arruda recorded the final out of the eighth on the mound.
Center fielder Andrew Pinckney led the Red Wings offensively, going 2-for-3 with a walk. His performance marked his 28th multi-hit game of the season, third-most on the team.
Rochester will look to even the six-game series Wednesday night, sending Chase Solesky to the mound to face Memphis right-hander Ian Bedell. First pitch is set for 7:45 p.m. EDT.

BOWIE, MD — The Harrisburg Senators fell 5–1 to the Chesapeake Baysox on Tuesday night at Prince George’s Stadium, leaving seven runners stranded.
Chesapeake jumped ahead early with a two-run home run from Thomas Sosa in the first inning and never relinquished the lead. Senators’ starter Jake Bennett struck out seven but allowed four runs across five innings, setting the tone for a night dominated by the Baysox.
Harrisburg’s only run came in the sixth on a sacrifice fly from Sam Brown. Branden Boissiere was a bright spot, reaching base three times with a single and two walks, but the Senators finished 0-for-7 with runners in scoring position.
Sosa added an RBI single in the seventh to cap a three-RBI night, while the Chesapeake bullpen held Harrisburg scoreless over the final three frames to seal the win.
The series continues on Wednesday, Alex Clemmey will get the start for Harrisburg against Zach Fruit. First pitch is slated for 6:35 p.m. EDT.

WILMINGTON, DE — The Wilmington Blue Rocks fell to the Aberdeen IronBirds, 4-2, on Tuesday night at Frawley Stadium.
Wilmington struck first with single runs in the second and third innings. Gavin Dugas delivered an RBI single in the second to bring home Jeremy De La Rosa, and De La Rosa returned the favor in the third, driving in Cortland Lawson with a base hit to give the Blue Rocks a 2-0 lead.
Starter Peyton Glavine tossed 2.2 scoreless innings before handing the ball to Euri Montero, but Aberdeen’s offense came alive in the fourth. Elis Cuevas tied the game with a two-run single, and Maikol Hernandez followed with a sacrifice fly to put the IronBirds ahead 3-2.
Cuevas came around again in the sixth on an RBI single by Ryan Stafford, padding Aberdeen’s lead to 4-2, where it would stay for the rest of the game.
Wellington Aracena earned the win for the IronBirds, allowing just one earned run over six innings. Christian Herberholz closed out the ninth for the save.
Wilmington will look to even the series on Wednesday night, with first pitch scheduled for 6:35 p.m. EDT. Travis Sthele will get the ball for the Blue Rocks.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — The Fredericksburg Nationals issued 12 walks in a 9-5 loss to the Carolina Mudcats Tuesday night at Virginia Credit Union Stadium.
Starter Brayan Romero walked four and failed to escape the second inning, as Carolina jumped out to a 5-0 lead through two frames. Eric Bitonti’s two-run double chased Romero, and the Mudcats added two more in the third off reliever Andy Luis, who issued three additional walks. Carolina led 7-0 after three innings.
The Mudcats’ momentum continued behind Melvin Hernandez, who held Fredericksburg scoreless through six innings while his team extended the lead to 9-0.
The Fred-Nats showed life in the seventh, scoring five runs off Carolina’s bullpen. Nick Peoples highlighted the rally with a two-run home run, his seventh of the season, but the comeback fell short.
The 12 walks marked the second-most Fredericksburg has allowed in a game this year, and the most since facing Carolina earlier this season.
With the win, Carolina moves within one game of first place. Fredericksburg remains atop the division with six games remaining. The series continues Wednesday at 11:05 a.m. EDT, with lefty Liam Sullivan scheduled to start for the Fred-Nats.
