Here are some top stories we're tracking in the Nats Report Newsroom
Well, we have made it barely, right? Man, it’s been a long winter. It’s been a long and cold winter. However, warmer weather is on its way, and tomorrow, down in West Palm Beach, the Washington Nationals will be playing baseball. Tomorrow, we will hear the umps say, “Play Ball,” “You're out,” or “Strike Three” (or we hope!); either way, after months of wondering how this year’s Nationals team will play, we will have evidence of something. As of this morning, we know about the Nationals lineup: Jake Irvin will get the call to start the game for the Nationals on the mound, a change from MacKenzie Gore getting the start.
I can, however, tell you what will be happening here on The Nats Report tomorrow. We will release our re-designed Game Notes for this season two hours before the first pitch tomorrow. We will also publish our “The Weekly,” as always, first thing in the morning (for Nats Report+ subscribers), and during the game, we will be live blogging the game right on our Spring Training Live Blog. But it doesn’t stop there; after the game, we will have our first game recap filled with highlights, quotes, and more.
We at the Nats Report have been preparing all off-season to provide you with the latest Washington Nationals news, headlines, analysis, and more this season. We hope that you join us this season!
Don’t forget to visit our live Spring Training blog as we provide live updates from West Palm Beach, analysis, and much more throughout the day.
Right-handed pitcher Jarlin Susana is making waves in the Washington Nationals organization, and manager Dave Martinez is clearly impressed with the young pitcher's development. While his raw talent has always been evident, it's Susana's increasing maturity that's truly capturing attention.
