Clayton Beeter is making the move to become a Rochester Red Wing. Just this past Wednesday, he pitched an inning of relief for the Scranton Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. Today, however, he'll finish out the series—and could even pitch in relief—but this time for Rochester, as the Red Wings face the RailRiders in their final matchup of the season. Beeter joined Rochester as part of a recent trade between the Nationals and Yankees, which sent Amed Rosario to New York and brought back Clayton Beeter and Browm Martinez to Washington. Beeter has now been assigned to the Red Wings.
Originally selected in the second round (66th overall) of the 2020 MLB Draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers, Beeter was drafted as a starter.
