Today, outfielder Steven Souza Jr announced his retirement via his Twitter. Souza Jr was drafted by the Nationals in 2007, before making it to the big leagues in 2014,where he made a spectacular sprawling catch to complete Jordan Zimmermann's no hitter. Souza Jr was then traded to Tampa in the Trea Turner deal. He bounced around for the rest of his career between the Diamondbacks, Cubs, and Dodgers before finishing up with a stint in Seattle. Souza Jr only played 26 games for the Nationals, but he will forever hold a place in fans' hearts.
