Hello Nats Report readers and welcome to the brand new The Nats Report, now powered by Substack! Yeah, I know that earlier this year we moved to a new email platform, but after careful thought, I decided to switch it up again and move to Substack! Hey, we are “re-tooling!”

There are a lot of reasons why I decided to move to Substack but the main reason is because I wanted to be able to quickly provide you with the latest Washington Nationals headlines even faster. By moving to Substack we are going to be able to provide you with the latest headlines even faster than ever before. Speed counts nowadays. Substack is going to allow us to have a greater focus on creating high-quality content without having to worry about all the tech that is involved in running two stand-alone websites.

In addition to delivering you the latest Nationals news quicker, there are a bunch of other great features that I am going to be exploring and launching in the coming months to build a Nats Report community, which will be filled with passionate Washington Nationals fans.

One of those features for us to better engage with YOU our readers is the ability for you to comment on posts, have game threads, or host general discussions about baseball or the Washington Nationals. Hey, we are going to give this a try.

Nearly three years ago, I started the Nats Report Morning Breifing and one of my goals for the site was just to sit back and engage with fellow Washington Nationals and baseball fans. By moving to the Substack platform, let’s make it happen!
