Nationals Previous Games

The Nationals just fell to the Blue Jays 6-3 at the start of their 3-game series in Toronto. The Nationals are coming off series wins against the Marlins and the Yankees. Washington won both of those series 2-1 which would make them 4-3 in their last 7. Washington is looking to win the series and the next two games.

This would set Washington up to make a little postseason run, maybe. The Nationals are 8 games back from the Wild Card sport and with a series win, they could get up to 6 GB. This is not a guarantee but we have seen it before with the Nationals.

Nationals Pitcher – Mackenzie Gore

Mackenzie Gore is having a promising year and showing his potential in the Nationals rotation. This year Gore is 6-10 in 25 games. Gore has thrown 127.1 Innings, 145 strikeouts, and a 1.37 WHIP. Gore has an ERA which equals 4.38.

The Blue Jays

The Blue Jays are 72-60 and 3rd in the AL East. They are currently fighting for a wild card spot in the AL. Toronto is currently 2.5 GB and is the first team out as of now. The Blue Jays have a star-studded lineup with Vladimir Guerro Jr., Bo Bichette, Matt Chapman, and tons more. The Blue Jays are in a huge part of their season where they need to win now and missing the playoffs is not an option that they can have.
