After sweeping the Miami Marlins and reaching .500, the Nationals will have a chance to go over .500 for the first time since July 2021 with a win tonight against the Texas Rangers (15-14). Washington Nationalsā four-game winning streak is its longest since Aug. 2-6, 2023. Additionally, the Nationals last won five in a row was June 13-18, 2021. Also since April 7, the Nationals are 12-8 (.600) and have won four of their last six series.
Lastly, the Nationalsā 14 wins in March/April are the most since April 2017, when the club went 17-8 to start the season.
The Nationals will send LHP MacKenzie Gore to the mound to face the Texas Rangers for the first time in his career.
