The Washington Nationals look to sweep the Miami Marlins this evening after a comeback win yesterday against the Marlins. After tonight’s game the Nationals will head to Arlington Texas to face the Texas Rangers for a three game mid-week series before heading back to D.C. face the Toronto Blue Jays this weekend.
Since April 7, the Nationals are 11-8 (.579) and have won four of their last six series.

The Washington Nationals beat the Miami Marlins, 12-9, on Sunday afternoon in dramatic, come-from-behind fashion...Trailing 7-0 after three innings, the Nationals plated five runs in the fourth, four runs in the fifth, one in the sixth and two in the eighth to pull away from the Marlins. Nick Senzel's three-run homer in the fifth capped the rally, putting the Nationals ahead, 9-7. It was Nick Senzel's second home run in as many innings.
Yesterday’s win marked Washington's largest comeback win since July 5, 2018 vs. Miami (Down 9-0, W14-12) and the largest road comeback win since April 28, 2015 at Atlanta (Down 9-1, W13-12).
The Nationals scored a season-high 12 runs on a season-high 14 hits in the victory. The Nationals have scored double-digit runs in back-to-back games for the first time this season.
