After winning the series opener in walk-off fashion last night, the Fredericksburg Nationals look to make it two in a row in the series and three in a row overall tonight with RHP Jarlin Susana on the mound for the team. Susana, an 18-year-old from the Dominican Republic, who came over to Washington from San Diego in the Juan Soto trade, will be making his Single-A debut tonight after carving up Rookie Ball to tune a 2.34 ERA in 34.1 IP with 53 strikeouts.

WELCOME TO THE FREDERICKSBURG NATIONALS Susana will try to follow in the footsteps of two different Fredericksburg Nationals who have made big splashes in their first few games with the team. In his first few weeks with Fredericksburg after being moved in the Juan Soto trade.

OF James Wood has driven in13 runs in 14 games with the team. In his firstFredericksburg Nationals game after being called up, 2022 3rd rounder Trey Lipscomb hit a three-run homer in his first at-bat and drove in another run with an RBI single later in the game. 5th-round pick Jared McKenzie doubled and hit a three-run homer in his first two FredNat at-bats.

Last night, T.J. White had three hits, including a two-run home run, and Geraldi Diaz picked up his second walk-off RBI of the year with a sac fly in the 9th. RHP Jackson Rutledge pitched seven innings for the second straight start in a 3-2 FredNat win.

Prosepcts in Fredericksburg: With Susana (No. 8) joining the team today, the Fredericksburg Nationals now have eight top 30 prospects in the Washington organization on the roster. James Wood slots in at No. 3, Brady House is No. 5, Jackson Rutledge is No. 12, Andry Lara is No. 13. Trey Lipscomb is No. 17, T.J.
