They won three games against the Brooklyn Cyclones in Wilmington over the weekend, giving them a positive start to their season. Wilmington’s Blue Rocks started with a 4-1 victory on Friday night, followed by a 4-2 win on Saturday night. They then secured a thrilling one-nothing walk-off win Sunday in extra innings, making it their second walk-off win of the season. Jared McKenzie showcased his heroics on Saturday night by hitting a walk-off home run. On Sunday afternoon in Wilmington, he delivered another impressive performance, securing victory by hitting a sacrifice fly to left field and allowing the winning run to score, thus securing the Blue Rocks’ first series sweep of the season.
