According to the Jesse Dougherty of the Washington Post [Tweet link], it looks like Catcher Tres Barrera will be one of the Nationals’ call-ups as rosters expand from 26 to 28.

Dougherty is reporting that according to his sources, Tres Barrera will be one of the Nationals' call-ups as the rosters are set to expand from 26 to 28 in September. Tres has been bouncing back and forth from the majors to Triple AAA over the past few years. Now, with the potential addition of Barrera to the catching core, the Nationals will now have three catchers on the major league roster.

Dougherty is also reporting that Washington Nationals catching prospect Israel Pineda is getting promoted from AA Harrisburg to AAA Rochester as now the Red Wings need a catcher to replace Tres.
