Quick Notes: Nationals will shut down Cade Cavalli for the next two weeks and put him on the IL because of shoulder inflammation
It looks like Nationals will shut down Cade Cavalli for the next two weeks and put him on the IL because of shoulder inflammation per the Washington Post's Jesse Dougherty. [Tweet link].
According to Davey Martinez Cavalli's shoulder felt sore after he started his first MLB game on Friday. The team performed an MRI which showed nothing. Cavalli isn't officially shut down for the season, however, Martinez says he’ll be shut down for 2 weeks. Doesn’t want to say his season is over, but obviously, there’s not a lot of time left in the season.
More to come.
