Today, RHP Stephen Strasburg pitched a solid four innings in his second rehab start for the Fredericksburg Nationals. From the sound of the ball hitting the catcher's glove, Strasburg was throwing with a significant amount of velocity for the five innings that he pitched. On a hot Sunday afternoon in Fredericksburg, the stadium was filled with a lot of Nationals fans wearing their 2019 World Series gear for the MVP.
Strasburg got a standing ovation when he came into the game at the start of the matchup and got another round of applause as he left for the afternoon.
