It seems that the last remaining top free agent has finally been signed. According to Bob Nightengale of USA TODAY, Shortstop Trevor Story has reportedly agreed to a $140 million six-year deal with the Red Sox. [Tweet link]. Many teams were in the mix for the shortstop, however, it turns out that the Red Sox were willing to give the big money to the shortstop. Additionally, according to Jeff Passan of ESPN, there is an opt-out after four. The AL East is going to be ultra-competitive this season.

With that singing and yesterday's news of Carlos Correa signing with the Twins, all the top shortstops and all the top free agents are off the board.
