Quick Notes: The Marlins announced that Kim Ng will not return as general manager in 2024.
Kim Ng, the first woman to serve as general manager of a team in the Big Four leagues will not be returning to the Marlins as GM in 2024.
Breaking News
In a press release, the Miami Marlins have announced that Kim Ng will not be returning to the team as the club’s General Manager for the 2024 season.
“Although the club exercised its team option for her return for the 2024 season, Kim has declined her mutual option. We thank Kim for her contributions during her time with our organization and wish her and her family well.”
She was the first woman to serve as general manager of a team in the Big Four leagues in North America and the first person of East Asian descent to serve as general manager of an MLB team
