Diaz is also a left-handed batter who spent 2023 in AAA with the Orioles and played parts of 2020-2022 in the big leagues with Miami.
While with Miami in 2022, he had a .169 batting average, a .288 slugging percentage, and 11 RBIs, playing 58 games and 174 plate appearances.
