Sens Win 2 in a Row!
⚾ DUGOUT DISPATCH
The Sens have won 2 in a row and 3 of their last 5. They’re 34-32 with three games left in the first half of the season. The Sens are now ½ game back of Akron for second place in the Southwest Divison standings. Sens fans have to be hopeful that this shows the ball club gelling together, getting used to playing along side each other, for a key second half stretch.

📈 MORNING STAT
Sens INF Cayden Wallace is 6-13 (.462), 3HR, 2B, 1BB and 3Ks in this week’s series against the SeaWolves. He has hit safely in 4 of his last 5 games. Wallace has also raised his batting average 20 pts in a week. He finished last Friday’s rain shortened loss to Richmond 0-2 and his batting average was .286. After last night’s 3-4 effort he now sits at a team leading .306 which is good enough for 7th overall in the Eastern League.

Sens Win 2nd straight at Home vs. Erie
🔥 Sens bats get big hits for second game in a row, Cayden Wallace stays scorching and Issac Lyon arrives as Sens slide past Erie.
Final Score: Senators 3, SeaWolves 1
Date: June 18, 2926
Location: FNB Field
⚾ DUGOUT DISPATCH
Cayden Wallace has essentially put the Senators offense on his back for a majority of the season but especially the last week. He’s hitting for power, he’s getting extra base hits and hard ground balls through the middle for a single. Senators fans are starting to realize so much that the only time Erie record an out on him was a hard line drive right near the left fielder. You knew it wasn’t gone off the bat but that’s what Wallace has done lately. He’s given everybody a reason for that initial yell of excitement when he makes contact because it seems as if every time he does the ball could leave the yard.
📊 THE BOX SCORE
Winning Pitcher: Issac Lyon (1–3], 6 2/3IP, 2H, 1R, 1ER, 0BB, 5K 6.14ERA
Losing Pitcher: Carlos Pena (3–3), 5IP, 5H, 3R, 3ER, 0BB, 8K)
Key Hitters:
Cayden Wallace: 3-4, HR, RBI
Cortland Lawson 2-3, RBI
Caleb Lomavita: 1-3, RBI
Leandro Pineda 1-3, 3B, 1R
Team RISP: 2-4 .500 Sens have another positive night driving in runners in scoring position. We’ve long said it needs to improve for a batter second half and it has over the last few games.
Errors: No errors by either team in last night’s ball game.
Attendance: 3,382
🎙️ LOCKER ROOM LORE
While no direct comments from the players, those that we did see post game underneath the concourse at FNB Field were postive after the 2nd straight win. Smiles, laughter, speaking with families and waving to fans. Positive vibes for the Senators heading into the weekend.
